Are you between 18 and 28 years old and interested in Baltic Sea issues? Do you want to meet like-minded young people from other biosphere reserves?
Then apply to take part in the Youth Forum ”Waves for Change” in Sweden together with young people from across the Baltic Sea region! 16-19 June 2025, 50 young adults from twelve biosphere reserves in eight countries around the Baltic Sea gather in the Kristianstads Vattenrike Biosphere Reserve. Over four intensive days, the participants will delve into the work of the biosphere reserves and explore nature-based solutions to preserve and improve the Baltic Sea ecosystem.
Three participants from the Archipelago Sea Biosphere Reserve will be selected. Travel and accommodation costs are covered by the organizers. This project is funded by the Swedish Institute. You don’t need to live in our biosphere reserve, but we hope you have some connections to our area.
To apply, send a short presentation (in Finnish, Swedish or English) of yourself and your motivation for participating to info@biosfar.fi by 28 March 2025.
