In September 15-16th, around 40 participants will meet in Turku for a 2-day Hackathon surrounding the topic Textile recycling.
Amongst you will be data scientists, developers, designers, environmental experts, students and young professionals. Everybody with a vision or passion for circular economy is welcome!
The goal is to manage and understand textile waste streams and to visualise and combine data, the ultimate goal being the circular economy of textiles. We are looking for new applications and business ideas that will take textile recycling to the next level. Participants will work in teams and present their ideas to a jury on Friday. Winner team will be chosen by the jury.
Hackathon is organized together with Turku University of Applied Sciences, Boost Turku and Relooping Fashion Initiative. The camp will be held at the inspiring SparkUp Turku.
Hackathon will be held in english and finnish. There is no participation fee.
